Meeting with representatives of the Programme Committee: Strategic Configuration: strategic overview of the implementation of the entire Programme, coherence of individual work programmes of different parts of the Programme, including Missions
On March 21, a meeting was held with representatives of the Programme Committee: Strategic Configuration: strategic review of the implementation of the entire programme, coherence of individual work programmes of different parts of the Programme, including Missions. The committee members responsible for monitoring the implementation of the European Union’s Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon Europe communicated with the Office’s specialists to establish effective communication to improve the work within the Programme.
The event was attended by all Office’s team. The Programme Committee was joined by Yulia Bezvershenko, Project Manager for Science and Education, Ukraine House, and Hryhoriy Mozolevych, Acting Director General of the Directorate for Science Development at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Olena Makarenko, Head of the Expert Group on Strategizing and Integration into the European Research Area of the Directorate for Science Development of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, also joined the discussion.
The participants discussed the specifics of the parties’ work and ways to improve it. They agreed on the coordination of activities, considered some important organizational issues, shared their own experience, as well as the vision of further cooperation of all those involved in the process in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Science. Among other things, they emphasized the need to strengthen the ability to represent Ukraine’s interests on the world stage.
Representatives of the Programme Committee expressed their expectations from cooperation with the Office’s specialists. In addition, the participants emphasized the importance of accelerating the process of nominating National Contact Points for access to information in order to better provide advice and assistance to potential applicants of the Horizon Europe Programme.
