On December 20, 2023, Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine officially started its work. This opportunity became possible due to the fruitful cooperation of the Directorate of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine and the Government of Ukraine with the European Commission. As a result, Grant Agreement was signed between the European Union, represented by the European Commission, and the NRFU (HEOinUA Project-101132682). For now, this is the only Office of the Horizon Europe Framework Programme, which the European Commission fully funds.

Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine is established and functions as a department of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine. Its work aims to provide information and advisory support for the implementation of the Horizon Europe Programme to the National contact points, researchers, scientists, innovators, other stakeholders to strengthen cooperation in science, innovation and technology.
