Specialists of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine held another meeting with members of the Programme Committees of the Horizon Europe

On February 27, the team of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine held working meetings with representatives of the Programme Committees responsible for monitoring the implementation of the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation “Horizon Europe”. This time, the participants of the Committees “Widening participation and strengthening the European Research Area” and “Food, bioeconomy, natural resources, agriculture and environment” joined the meeting. The first event was also attended by Hryhoriy Mozolevych, Acting Director General of the Directorate for Science Development of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

Ihor Taranov, Head of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, noted that such meetings are held to establish effective communication with all participants in the process.

Olga Polotska, Executive Director of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine, who is among the representatives of the Сommittee “Widening Participation and Strengthening the European Research Area,” emphasized the need for close cooperation of all participants within the Сommittee and with representatives of the Office.

All participants agreed on the need to develop, together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, a unified position when representing and promoting Ukraine in the European research area.

As a reminder, on February 22, the Office held meetings with representatives of the Programme Committees “Climate, Energy and Mobility”, “Euratom – Fission (Separation)” and “Euratom – Fusion”.
