Participation of HEOinUA specialists in the information event dedicated to the Research Fund Coal and Steel calls in 2024
Specialists of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU actively continue to participate in online events organised by the European Commission on various aspects of Horizon Europe. Thus, on July 4, the employees joined the information day dedicated to the actual calls 2024 under the EU funding programme supporting research and demonstration projects in the coal and steel sectors of the Research Fund for Coal and Steel (RFCS).
The speakers highlighted such topics as:
- the general policy of grant support
- supporting RFCS of the coal sector
- innovations breakthrough technologies in the steel sector with a focus on low-carbon steelmaking under the Horizon Europe Clean Steel partnership
- funding projects that comply with the Just Transition Mechanism and will facilitate the transition to a digital, green and circular economy in the coal and steel industries
- preparation of grant application
- making a budget
- evaluation process.
The event was organised by the European Research Executive Agency (REA) with the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation’s Low Emission Future Industries team.
