Participation of the Office’s experts in a training event on EU grant opportunities under the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change
Employees of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU are constantly improving their skills, including through relevant training from the EC, in order to provide useful and necessary information to stakeholders on opportunities for additional funding from the EU, in particular the Horizon Europe Programme. Thus, on November 6, the Office’s specialists took part in an online training event on EU grant opportunities for regions and local authorities to promote climate resilience. The event, organised within the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change, joined 175 participants.
Participants received detailed information on EU general funding opportunities with a focus on engaging regions and local communities to address climate change and adaptation (EU regional and urban development), as well as funding opportunities in the context of such programmes and additional mechanisms as: Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), Environmental and Climate Action (LIFE), and Horizon Europe. Also, the Guide to EU Funding & other resources was presented. In addition, special attention was paid to opportunities for Ukraine within the Interreg programme.
More information on activities in the context of climate change mitigation and adaptation actions can be found in Climat ADAPT, which disseminates knowledge for climate resilience in Europe through the MIP4Adapt technical assistance programme.
