Representatives of the NRFU joined the discussion about the opportunities for the development of youth aerospace science

On April 15, the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine held a round table discussion Opportunities for the Development of Youth Aerospace Science. The aim of the event was to promote the research of young scientists in the aviation and aerospace industry, as well as to establish communication between as many stakeholders as possible in the relevant area. Representatives of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine, including Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, joined the event.

NRFU members spoke within the separate panel dedicated to opportunities for the development of youth aerospace science. Andrii Kuznetsov, First Deputy Executive Director for Grant Support of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine, presented the possibilities of the Foundation for the development of the aerospace sector. For his part, Igor Taranov, Head of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU, shared with the participants and the audience the current calls of the Horizon Europe Programme under the Cluster 4: Digital, Industry and Space.

In total, 13 young scientists, including representatives of the Kharkiv Aviation Institute, the National Technical University of Ukraine ‘Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute’, the Institute of Technical Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the State Research Institute of Ukraine, the State Enterprise “Kyiv Aviation Institute”, Zaporizhzhya Machine-Building Design Bureau “Progress” named after O. Ivchenko, Dnipro National University named after Oles Honcharuk and other institutions presented their achievements in the aviation and rocket and space industry. The event was moderated by Anastasiia Simakhova, and Oleksandr Shorinov.
