Online consultation for representatives of the agricultural sector took place
On August 18, an online consultation was held for representatives of the agricultural sector – SENCHA LLC. The holding includes enterprises engaged in animal breeding (pig and cattle breeding), crop production, recycling, and its own trading network. The company is interested in the opportunities offered by the Horizon Europe Framework Programme for Ukrainian agricultural companies, particularly in Cluster 6: Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment.
Among the questions that interested the respondents were:
- specific aspects and conditions for submitting applications to Horizon Europe calls
- searching for reliable partners and forming a consortium, including legal and financial responsibilities between consortium members and budget distribution
- strategic issues, including assessing sustainable development in projects and additional funding opportunities
- action algorithm in case of receiving a grant, including communication with EC representatives, and reporting
- strategic issues, including assessing sustainable development in projects, additional funding opportunities for projects in the area of Blue Economy and alternative proteins, projects related to biopolymers, biofertilisers, biogas, and agricultural waste processing.
In addition, company representative Maksym Matsak was interested in joint funding models involving private investors and the Horizon Europe Programme, as well as the possibility of matching the grant received under the Horizon Europe Programme with programmes such as the Innovation Fund or the LIFE Programme.
