On August 25, employees of the department “Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine”, NRFU, held a series of online consultations for potential participants in the EU Framework Programme Horizon Europe.

Representatives of the Biltex Group, one of Ukraine’s leading textile manufacturers, addressed the Office’s specialists. The applicants intend to participate in the Programme’s call within the Cluster 4 “Digital, Industry and Space”, Digitally enabled local-for-local textile and apparel production (Textiles for the Future Partnership) (IA) HORIZON-CL4-INDUSTRY-2025-01-MATERIALS-31: https://ec.europa.eu/info/funding-tenders/opportunities/portal/screen/opportunities/topic-details/horizon-cl4-industry-2025-01-materials-31.

The entrepreneurs had already received a PIC number for their company by registering on the EU Funding and Tenders Portal, yet they were interested in both a general overview of the Programme and its opportunities for Ukrainian businesses, as well as the specific conditions for participation in the selected call, including financial and organisational aspects.

The specialists of the Office prepared presentations and provided comprehensive answers to all questions sent in advance by the enquirers, as well as those that were raised during the consultation.

Besides, there was an online meeting with the consortium representatives who, while preparing a project proposal for the call HORIZON-CL2-2025-01-HERITAGE-07 Cultural Strategies for Peace: culture and creativity as catalysts for conflict prevention and post-conflict reconciliation, faced certain difficulties and applied for assistance from the members of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU.

The consortium consists of thirteen organisations representing five EU countries, Ukraine and Georgia. These are higher education institutions, non-governmental organisations and local authorities.

The applicants were interested in the issues of the budget, in particular: salary, travel costs, expenses, etc. The Office’s specialists gave professional advice to the applicants, answering all their questions, which would significantly help them to prepare a successful application for participation in the Horizon Europe call.
