A webinar dedicated to the European Excellence Initiative Call with the participation of representatives of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU
On September 17, a webinar: The Road to Excellence, dedicated to the European Excellence Initiative Call under the Horizon Europe Programme took place.
The event was organised by the Horizon Europe National Contact Point in the field of Widening Participation and Strengthening the European Research Area (WIDERA) with the aim of informing potential Ukrainian applicants about the terms of the call and how to prepare a successful application.
Nataliia Didenko, PhD in Agricultural Sciences, Senior Researcher, Deputy Head of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU, opened the event with a welcoming speech. The Office representative welcomed the participants and encouraged them to take an active part in the EU Framework Programme. She also emphasised that the Office, as a key National Contact Point, is always open to cooperation, provides informational support for events organised by NCPs, and offers advice to anyone who intends to join the Programme or is already a participant.
During the working part, the following issues were discussed in detail:
- the opportunities for Cluster 4 “Digital, Industry and Space” for Ukrainian scientists, presented by Vasyl Namonyuk, PhD in Economics, Head of the NCP for Cluster 4
- the European Excellence Initiative (EEI) Call: its content, features of consortium formation, preparation of a proposal – presented by Olga Sulema, PhD, Head of the NCP for WIDERA.
Finally, participants had the opportunity to ask questions to the experts, who answered them and also expressed their gratitude for the informative event.
