The team of the department “Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine”, NRFU continues to consult Ukrainian business representatives. Thus, the department’s specialists held consultations with representatives of the French international company EPSA, Yaroslav Ivakhno and Ilya Gzoim. The participants discussed the company’s possible role in the implementation of the projects of the 9th EU Framework Programme Horizon Europe.

The company has experience in the global financial market and plans in Ukraine, including a number of international development projects in the interests of business partners, municipalities and other stakeholders. Therefore, the Office’s specialists provided detailed information on various aspects of business participation in the Programme. In addition, the parties defined specific steps for further cooperation and the organisation of joint events.

Earlier, employees of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine provided online consultation on the programme’s opportunities to Viktor Vyhora, a representative of Ukraine’s IT industry and co-founder of several start-ups. He was interested in taking part in the European Innovation Council’s call HORIZON-EIC-2025-UKRAINIANTECH-01.

The Leading Officer informed about the available support instruments of the European Innovation Council and described in detail the new call to support Ukrainian tech start-ups and SMEs. Among other things, he presented the features and special conditions for participation in the call, outlined the demands for potential participants, outcomes and outlook for successful applicants.

This call is aimed at supporting Ukrainian deep-tech start-ups and SMEs that develop innovative technology, products, services or business models for civilian use, which have the potential to create new markets or break into existing ones, as well as the ambition and intention to scale up. Women-led startups are highly welcomed to participate.

In addition, the Office team answered specific questions regarding time management and budgeting, preparing applications for IT start-up development, determining their technological readiness level, and other opportunities offered by the Programme, such as cascade financing.
