Specialists of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU continue to provide support to the National Contact Points of the Horizon Europe Programme in events for potential applicants. Thus, on December 5, representatives of the Office joined the NCP Civil security for society information event “Next steps after submitting an application”, dedicated to certain aspects of participation in the Programme under the Cluster 3.

In particular, Oleksandr Moiseiev, Leading Officer of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU, presented the construction of the consortium. He informed in detail about the criteria for creating a consortium, the ability to structure and present one’s strengths, a division of roles between participants and the definition of the coordinator function, as well as points of a strong consortium.

In addition, the specialist of the Office introduced the participants the tools for finding partners: the EU Funding & Tenders Portal, the CORDIS database, brokerage events, COST initiative as an opportunity to further join the projects of the Horizon Europe Programme and other opportunities.

Other speakers at the event include:

  • NCP Civil security for society in Estonia by Lauri Tuppo with a report on financing opportunities under the Cluster 3;
  • NCP Civil security for society in Ukraine, Oleksiy Serdyuk with information about typical errors that reduce points when evaluating Horizon Europe Cluster 3 projects.

The event was organised for all interested persons, as well as those responsible for international cooperation and participation in grant programmes of higher education institutions and institutions of the security and defence sector. The hybrid format of the event made it possible to attract as many interested participants as possible.
