Gradual roll-out of the mandatory use of 2-Factor Authentication (2FA): be prepared!
Over the course of the next year, securing access to your EU Login account via 2-factor authentication will become mandatory. This implementation will be progressive and concerned users will be notified individually in due time. The EC announced this on its official website.
However, you should not wait until the last minute to get prepared! We will host a webinar entirely dedicated to 2-factor authentication in the context of the EU Funding & Tenders Portal.
Watch the webinar, ask your questions and find the useful resources on the event page.
For information.
EU Login – is the European Commission’s central user authentication service. It allows users to access a wide range of Commission resources including websites, applications and services, by using a single account. EU Login also adds a layer of protection to the sign-in process, through the multifactor authentication (2FA or MFA). It provides additional security through a range of easy-to-use verification methods, such as scanning a fingerprint or using the face recognition of your device, going towards password-less service.
