Partners search for participation in the call within the Horizon Europe Cluster 5

The University of Florence (UNIFI) is preparing a project proposal for participation in the call under the Horizon Europe Cluster 5 “Climate, energy and mobility” and is looking for partners in the field of industry to strengthen the consortium. We are talking about an industrial partner (an oil and gas well operator) interested in operating, replicating and implementing this solution on the market for abandoned or devastated (exhaustible) wells in Europe.

Acronym: WELL-SAFE.

Functions of the partner in the project

• Act as an oil and gas well operator, possessing technical knowledge in the field of well integrity and underground work.
• Provide access to old wells (exhaust or decommissioned oil and gas wells) for demonstration and validation activities.
• Promote the development of exploitation strategies, scalability assessment and future market adoption of the technology.
• Promote the replication of the solution in different European contexts.
