Informing potential applicants about the opportunities of the Horizon Europe Programme: representatives of HEOinUA took part in numerous events and consultations
Specialists of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU constantly take part in partnership events for the dissemination of information about the Horizon Europe opportunities, and also provide consultations to its potential participants.
Thus, on January 29, 2026, the representative of the Office, Leading Officer Liudmyla Lisova joined the seminar «University 2030: Leadership Strategy, Digital Ecosystem and European Quality Standards». As part of the scientific-innovative and international panel, the speaker presented the Horizon Europe Programme. She introduced the history of previous framework programmes, Horizon Europe structure and the opportunities available to higher education institutions. Participants also received step-by-step instructions for participating in the Programme, which will help those who still do not have any experience in grant programmes.
This is an annual event for scientific and pedagogical representatives of the National University of Life and Environmental Scientists of Ukraine (NUBiP), which was held on January 27 and 29. The participants had the opportunity to discuss the issues of transformation of higher education, its quality and university development strategy in the conditions of global challenges, leadership in the agro-industrial complex, university science and digital transformation of scientific and pedagogical activities. The event brought together around 800 participants, 200 of whom attended the event in person.
Also, on January 30, an information event dedicated to support tools within the Horizon Europe Programme, organised by the NGO Regional Development Agency of Prybuzhzhia for representatives of communities of the Volyn region was held. Specialists of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU were speakers at the event.
The following issues were covered:
- the flagship EU Research and Innovation Programme Horizon Europe (Liudmyla Lisova, Leading Officer);
- work results of HEOinUA for Ukrainian participants of FP9 (Igor Taranov, Head of the Office);
- tools of the Horizon Europe Programme for creating solutions, partnerships and piloting them in Ukrainian communities (Tayisiya Symochko, Leading Officer).
In addition, on January 27-28, employees of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine conducted online and offline consultations for higher education institutions in Lviv and Kharkiv, which are interested in participating in the Programme. They were about certain aspects of participation, including the writing of a project application, the search for partners and the submission of information on their search, the selection of calls related to the activities of institutions.
