On April 9, Information Day dedicated to current calls and partnerships in project proposals under the EU Framework Programme Horizon Europe was held. The event was organised by the National Contact Points in the areas of Climate, Energy and Mobility (Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology, Dnipro) and Digital, Industry and Space (Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv). Representatives of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU, joined the event.

The meeting was opened with a welcome speech by Kostyantyn Sukhyi, Rector of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology. Nataliia Didenko, Deputy Head of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU, also welcomed the participants to the information day. The Office representative emphasised the necessity of such events, which deepen the knowledge of future Programme applicants in specific areas, as well as provide an opportunity to communicate and ask questions directly to the speakers. Furthermore, she highlighted the importance of not being afraid to participate in calls and writing competent project proposals, improving their chances of success with the help of such information events.

During the working part, the following issues were highlighted:

  • current calls under the Horizon Europe Work programme 2026-2027, Cluster 5;
  • search the partners of   consortium and the submission of a grant application in autumn 2026;
  • work with the EU Funding and Tenders Portal;
  • the success story of the Horizon Europe ENERGENIUS project implemented by the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology.

The information day was summarised by Vladyslav Danishevskyi, Institute of the Dnipro State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology, NCP for Climate, Energy and Mobility, who moderated the event.
