Specialists of the Office presented at webinar organised together with the Donetsk Regional Military Administration and the IP Office
Experts of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU, took part as speakers in the webinar, organised jointly with the Donetsk Regional Military Administration and the Ukrainian National Office of Intellectual Property and Innovation (IP Office). The topic of the event was the support of scientific developments and their transformation into workable business solutions.
During their speeches, representatives of the Office introduced the opportunities offered by the Horizon Europe Programme to various target audiences. Maksym Kolisnyk, leading officer, spoke about business support tools. He focused on opportunities for obtaining funding for innovative developments, scaling up technologies and enabling Ukrainian companies to break into European markets. The expert also told participants about the new features of the 2026-2027 Work Programme and the Horizon Europe open calls.
In addition, the leading officer, Vladyslav Mykhailenko, presented current opportunities for local authorities and research institutions to participate in Programme calls, with a focus on the environmental component. In particular, he emphasised areas involving the restoration of territories affected by war, the implementation of sustainable solutions, and adaptation to climate challenges. Additionally, the expert highlighted EU Missions calls involving various participants: business, higher education institutions, public organisations and research institutions.
During the Q&A session, a number of specific questions were raised regarding the participation of Ukrainian organisations in the Programme, including the possibility of involving universities located in areas where military operations are taking place, the participation of relocated enterprises, and typical mistakes made by applicants while preparing project proposals.
The webinar is the third event organised in collaboration with the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, as the representatives of state authorities are very interested in both participating in the Programme and facilitating the involvement of as many potential participants as possible, strengthening their capabilities, and providing support.
