Science Day 2026: Integration of Ukraine into the European Research Area

Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU, reminds about the Information Dissemination Event: Integration of Ukraine into the European Research Area that will take place on May 15, 2026. The event will be held as part of celebration for Science Day in Ukraine, which is annually held on the third Saturday of May.

We invite everyone to join the Information Dissemination Event raising awareness of opportunities for Ukrainian researchers and innovators within the European and global research areas and celebrating Ukraine’s role within the European Research Area, as well as fostering synergies between European programmes, networks and initiatives aimed at strengthening cross-sectoral and cross-disciplinary scientific mobility, work and cooperation.

Among the speakers of the event are representatives of the Committee on Education, Science and Innovation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Directorate-General for Research and Innovation of the EC (DG RTD), the Science Europe Association, Fund of the President of Ukraine for Education, Science and Sports, the EU Delegation to Ukraine, the UNESCO Antenna Ukraine, the National Research Foundation of Ukraine, Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, the DAAD Information Centre in Kyiv.

Time: 08:00-14:00 (CEST).

Format: hybrid.

Language: Ukrainian and English (with simultaneous interpretation).
