Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU celebrated Vyshyvanka Day-2026

Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine as part of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine joined the celebration of the World Vyshyvanka Day. Today, to celebrate unity and joint progress, not only employees who are in the office joined, but those who are currently on a business trip, vacation or distant work.

Every year on the third Thursday of May, the whole world celebrates Vyshyvanka Day. This year, the holiday fell on May 21. This is a holiday that unites Ukrainians through space and time, because cultural heritage is an important component of national identity, modern formation of Ukrainians and awareness of their roots and future.

Today, the embroidered shirt – is not only an element of national clothing, but also an international symbol of Ukrainian identity that unites all of us and reminds us: we are a nation with a thousand-year-old culture and an invincible spirit.
