Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine’s experts provided a series of online consultations for potential Horizon Europe participants
Experts of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU, continue to provide online consultations to those interested in the EU Framework Programme Horizon Europe who request information on specific aspects of participation.
Thus, on August 18, an online consultation took place with representatives of Antonov JSC. The company intends to take part in European Defence Fund (EDF) calls and has required assistance with specific issues. In particular, they were interested in Ukraine’s eligibility to the EDF programme, the number of Ukrainian organisations within a consortium, and the possibility of Ukrainians to coordinate an EDF project.
In addition, on August 20, employees from the ‘Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine’ held two online meetings. The first one was held with representatives of the Greek company Building Solid Success, who expressed their wish to cooperate with the Office. During the introductory meeting, they presented themselves and their areas of activity, strategic priorities, experience, established networks and partners. The parties discussed the framework for potential long-term cooperation in terms of identifying and selecting partners to take part in EDF and Horizon Europe calls for proposals. Among other things, the Greek partners requested further information on calls that might be of interest to organisations from both countries.
Also, on the same day, the Office provided consultation to Ukrainian engineer and inventor who, together with a team of specialist consultants, are the developers and ideologists of several engineering concepts in the field of critical infrastructure. The enquirer wanted to understand how their work could be integrated into EU grant initiatives with a view to partners subsequently producing working prototypes based on their technology.
Therefore, the enquirers were most interested in the ways for finding European partners, an overview of current calls for solutions in the area of environmental safety and climate change resilience, as well as the format for the team’s participation in the Programme, either as a developer-consultant or as an individual inventor.
Experts of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine answered all the questions raised by potential applicants, demonstrating specific topics, such as current calls, in presentations prepared for these consultation sessions.
