Centre for the study and prevention of crime of Miguel Hernández University (Spain) CRÍMINA interested in contributing to the following Horizon Europe Cluster 3 Civil Security for Society calls:

  • HORIZON-CL3-2026-01-FCT-01 – Improving capabilities of law enforcement to counter climate-related challenges
  • HORIZON-CL3-2026-01-FCT-02 – Open topic on preventing and countering the misuse of emerging technologies for criminal purposes, including issues related to lawful access to data
  • HORIZON-CL3-2026-01-FCT-04 – Crime prevention approaches, online and off-line, tackling the nexus between addictions and crime
  • HORIZON-CL3-2026-01-FCT-05 – Enhancing the security of citizens against terrorism and lone-actor violence in confined spaces such as schools.

Research centre dedicated to applied scientific research and the training of professionals in the analysis, prevention, and treatment of crime. They connect criminology, criminal law and behavioural research to understand security challenges and support evidence-based prevention.

As a consortium partner they offer criminological and behavioural research, empirical evaluation and practitioner training. Their ethical and legal analysis covers security technologies and fundamental rights, data-quality assessment and privacy-aware data governance.
