Home News Calls Andes Virus & ANDV-relevant Hantavirus Research Call has been launched under the Horizon Europe ISIDORe project

The ISIDORe II project under the EU’s Horizon Europe Programme has launched a call enabling researchers to access specialised European research facilities, services and expertise free-of-charge to advance research on Andes virus (ANDV) and related hantaviruses. The call is being implemented with funding in cascade.

Rather than providing a traditional research grant, the call supports researchers by covering access to scientific infrastructure and services for projects in three areas:

  • Evaluating potential treatments and non-vaccine preventive approaches
  • Developing diagnostic tools, assays and reference materials
  • Using relevant models and experimental systems to study ANDV.

The call is open to researchers from academia, public research organisations, public-health-linked research bodies, industry, SMEs and other research-performing organisations are eligible to apply, subject to the call requirements.

Application deadline: December 11, 2026.
