Partners search for participation in the Horizon Europe Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities EU Mission calls

The Institute of Digital Humanities at Riga Technical University, Latvia, is interested in joining consortia preparing proposals for two 2027 calls under the Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities EU Mission:

• HORIZON-MISS-2027-04-CIT-01 – Innovative microgrids for improved energy system integration and efficiency in urban contexts;
• HORIZON-MISS-2027-04-CIT-03 – Inclusive and climate resilient multimodal passenger hubs enhancing modal shift towards sustainable transport and shared mobility.

The Institute brings social sciences and humanities (SSH) expertise to technical projects, within Latvia’s leading STEM+ university. Relevant strengths include:

   – Civic engagement and professional literacy campaigns that foster behavioural change, including green transition and climate literacy.

   – Disinformation debunking, feedback analysis and media campaigns.

   – The impact of digital tools on communication with different target groups, including vulnerable populations.

   – Digital storytelling and transmedia, with a focus on less-used languages, underrepresented communities and minority voices.

   – Competence profiling, upskilling and reskilling.

Potential roles in a project: research, dissemination, training and project management.
