Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NFU held an online consultation on financial aspects of participation in the Horizon Europe
On September 16, the team of the Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU held another online consultation for potential Horizon Europe participants. This time it was for representatives of Lviv Polytechnic National University. Oleksandr Berezko, Pavlo Zhezhnych and Vasyl Namoniuk, who are preparing an application for participation in the call: Assessing the State of Research Infrastructures in Ukraine within the Research Infrastructures requested advice on the financial aspects of the Programme.
The inquirers were interested in information on the specifics of administration and funding for organisations that are not members of the consortium and will be involved in study visits abroad. The Office’s specialists responsible for this area provided comprehensive, qualified answers and advice, and emphasized the importance of correctly determining the competitive selection of participants.
In addition, the experts emphasized that the participation of domestic organizations in this call is extremely important for Ukraine, since its topic, among other things, is to assess the situation with research institutions in the country, including the damage caused to the Ukrainian research potential by the war. It is also aimed at identifying priorities for the development, reconstruction and/or reorientation of the potential of research institutions in Ukraine in view of Ukraine’s future integration into the European research area.
