The first four-sided meeting was held with representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science, Programme committees, the Horizon Europe NCP, and Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU
On September 27, a working meeting was held with representatives of Ukraine to the committees responsible for monitoring the implementation of the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon Europe and a kick-off meeting with the Horizon Europe NCPs. This was the first four-sided meeting after the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine signed agreements with the national contact points.
The event was opened by Denys Kurbatov, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, and Olha Polotska, Executive Director of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine. They emphasized the importance of building a network of Horizon Europe experts to reach out to the public and raise awareness of the Programme among Ukrainian researchers and innovators. After all, successful participation in the Programmes calls will help strengthen Ukraine’s position in the international arena and accelerate its integration into the European research area.
After the presentations by Hryhorii Mozolevych, Director General of the Directorate for Science Development of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Igor Taranov, Head of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, and Mykhailo Hrebeniuk, Director of Guard LLC, an open microphone exchange of experience took place between representatives of the Ministry, Programme Committees, National Contact Points and Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine. During this part, the participants actively shared their achievements and future plans, as well as expressed opinions and suggestions on how to improve the work and increase effective communication between all parties to the process.
