On November 28, the team of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine held a webinar together with the Czech-Ukrainian Scientific Society on key aspects of the Horizon Europe Programme. The participants discussed the main directions of the Programme and opportunities for finding partners and participation of Ukrainian and Czech scientists, researchers and innovators.

The purpose of the joint event was to provide information on the Programme from Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, as presented by Vladyslav Mykhailenko, Leading Officer. Nataliia Didenko, Deputy Head of the Office, also provided information on the search for partners, namely, what tools and platforms are available for their search. Igor Taranov, Head of the Office, provided statistical information about the Programme and compared it with the previous Horizon 2020 in terms of the participation of Ukrainian organisations, and also spoke about the Office on the example of HEOinUA-101132682 as a successful project.

This joint webinar was an important step in strengthening cooperation between Ukrainian and Czech scientists and Ukrainians who were forced to leave the country due to the armed aggression against Ukraine and move to the Czech Republic, which will further facilitate Ukraine’s integration into the European scientific community.
