Workshop on opportunities within the Horizon Europe European Institute of Innovation and Technology and the New European Bauhaus was held
On 25 February, a workshop “Grant opportunities of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology and the New European Bauhaus Initiative” was held. The event was attended by Igor Taranov, Head of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU.
The Head of the Office presented a welcoming speech in which he emphasised the importance of this event, as there are many opportunities for Ukrainian researchers and innovators in these areas, especially under the European Institute of Innovation and Technology. Mr Taranov also highlighted a rather new area, the New European Bauhaus, which has received significant funding. Therefore, participation in events dedicated to specific aspects of the Horizon Europe Programme is essential for anyone interested in EU grant support.
Among the issues covered during the workshop:
- the structure and activities of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), as described by the Head of the EIT NCP in Ukraine, Vitalina Babenko;
- EIT Community Programmes for Ukraine, presented by EIT Community SRI Project Coordinator Diana Berezhna;
- the activities of the NCP New European Bauhaus, which were presented by its Head Olesia Skliarenko.
The event ended with a Q&A session, during which the workshop participants had the opportunity to ask all their questions and express their wishes regarding activities aimed at supporting the domestic research and innovation sector.
