At the extraordinary meeting of the COST Committee of Senior Officials, a new Executive Board member of the COST Association was elected

On June 24, the 223rd extraordinary meeting of the COST Committee of Senior Officials took place. The event was attended by Igor Taranov, Head of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU, who is the representative of Ukraine to the COST Committee of Senior Officials.

The topic of this meeting was the election of a new Executive Board member of the COST Association to replace Brigitte Weiss, whose term of office expired on June 21, 2025. By electronic secret ballot, Dr. Maria Rachele Nocera, representative of Italy, was unanimously elected to the vacant position of member of the Executive Board.

Until now, the candidate has held the position of Policy Officer within the Directorate General for Internationalisation and Communication, Ministry of University and Research.
