Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine experts continue to provide support to all those who are interested in participating or are already participants of the Framework Programme Horizon Europe. Consultation activities are offered both online and on-site.

On June 5, Nataliia Didenko, Deputy Head of HEOinUA, met with Yelyzaveta Omelchenko, Communications Manager, Business Woman Club, and representatives of the Sky of Ukraine Charitable Foundation Mykyta Radionov and Ruslan Feshchenko, who are interested in participating in the Horizon Europe calls in water-related areas. The offline consultations focused on the practical aspects of participation in the Programme, in particular, creating an account and registering an organisation, and getting a unique personal number. During the meeting, the inquirers could see presentation materials on the topics they were interested in.

The participants discussed the specifics of the registration of the institution and the required documents; the roles of project management; and the details of the consortium forming. The Office’s expert highlighted the role of LEAR and its authorities. Among other things, she focused on the Gender Equality Plan, which can be a key factor in the evaluation of project proposals, and other eligibility criteria for a successful application.

The inquirers received answers to all their questions, as well as presentation materials, links to Office’s media resources and its YouTube channel to watch videos of the events. In addition, Nataliia Didenko invited the guests to join an event scheduled for 16-17 June in Chernivtsi in order to receive detailed information on the opportunities presented by the Programme in 2025.
