Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU establishes cooperation with international partners: meeting with representatives of the Republic of Austria

On July 31, the specialists of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine took part in a joint online meeting with representatives of Ukraine and the Republic of Austria to the Programme committee: Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society, responsible for monitoring the implementation of the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon Europe, and representatives of the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG). This is the first meeting devoted to cooperation and exchange of experience with Austrian colleagues.

The event was dedicated to studying the experience of Austria in research and innovation. For Ukrainian side, participation in the event provided useful information that paves the way for the potential implementation of the best practices in the administration of EU grant opportunities in Ukraine, including Horizon Europe.

A separate topic of discussion was the issue of FFG’s readiness to promote the participation of Ukrainian researchers in Horizon Europe projects, in particular through various information and training events and special trainings on the preparation of successful project applications. In this regard, representatives of the Office assured foreign partners of promoting fruitful cooperation and supporting such initiatives.
