Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU, raises awareness of the Horizon Europe Programme among Ukrainian higher education institutions: the event held for the Ivan Ohiienko K-PNU
On August 13, the team of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU, held an information dissemination event dedicated to the practical aspects of participating in the EU Framework Programme Horizon Europe, including topics, finding partners and drafting sections of project applications. The event was organised at the request of the Kamianets-Podіlskyi Ivan Ohiienko National University (K-PNU), whose employers have not yet had any experience of participating in the Programme but are very interested and see significant potential in it for themselves.
The event was opened with a welcome speech by Nataliia Didenko, Deputy Head of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU. The participants were also welcomed by Nataliia Bakhmat, Acting Rector of the Kamianets-Podіlskyi Ivan Ohiienko National University. She expressed her gratitude to the Office’s specialists for organising the event and expressed her hope for fruitful cooperation in the future.
Among the topics of interest to the university representatives were:
- “An overview of current Cluster 2 calls for 2026-2027”
- “Cluster 1 and EU Cancer Mission calls 2026-2027”
- “Tools for finding partners and forming a consortium: using the EU Funding and Tenders Portal and creating an organisation profile. Searching via NCP networks and brokerage events”
- “Key aspects of the application (Part B): Excellence, Impact and Quality and efficiency of implementation. Advice on strengthening each section based on the Office’s experience”
- “Practical approach to drafting work packages: tasks, deliverables, milestones. The logical link between work packages and project objectives”.
As usual, the event concluded with a question-and-answer session, during which participants had the opportunity to ask their questions directly to the Office’s specialists.

Kamianets-Podіlskyi Ivan Ohiienko National University is a multidisciplinary higher education institution that also serves as a scientific and cultural centre for the Khmelnytskyi region.
