Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU – Vyshyvanka Day Unites the World Ukrainian Community!

Every year on the third Thursday of May, the whole world celebrates Vyshyvanka Day. This year, the holiday fell on May 15. The team of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine traditionally joined the celebration.

The holiday gained special importance in the time of war, because people started to value their own culture even more and work to protect it. Today, the embroidered shirt is not just an element of national dress, but an international symbol of Ukrainian identity that unites all of us and reminds us that we are a nation with a thousand-year culture and invincible spirit.
