Information event dedicated to the Horizon Europe Civil Security for Society calls was held
On March 14, an information event was held on the Horizon Europe calls in the area of Civil Security for Society, which are expected to be launched in 2025. The event was organised by the National Contact Point for the relevant area of work. Among the speakers was Nadiia Naumova, Leading Officer of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU.
Oleksandr Muzychuk, Vice-Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, opened the event with a welcoming speech. Also, Tetyana Matiushkova, Head of the International Cooperation Department of the university, welcomed the participants and provided technical instruction.
During the event, the following topics were presented to the participants:
- success stories of Ukrainian organisations in the area of Civil Security for Society, presented by the Office’s expert;
- the structure of Cluster 3: Civil Security for Society of the Horizon Europe Programme in 2025 – Oleksandr Chemeris, NPC in the relevant area of activity (Pukhov Institute for Modelling Problems in Energy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine);
- expected calls of Cluster 3 in 2025 – Oleksiy Serdyuk, NCP in the area of Civilian Security for Society (Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs).
The event was organised for all those interested in participating in the Programme, as well as those responsible for international cooperation and participation in grant programmes of higher education institutions and defence and security sector institutions.
