Information event: Grant opportunities of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine and support tools within Horizon Europe Programme in Odesa – Day IIІ
On the third day, September 5, the team of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine continued to inform the public about the NRFU’s grant opportunities and support tools under the Horizon Europe. The final day of the event was devoted to specific areas of the Programme and certain aspects of preparing competitive applications for projects from the National Foundation.
The speakers discussed a number of actual topics, including:
- Grant opportunities for business within Horizon Europe;
- Opportunities for Ukrainian researchers in Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA);
- Organisational and legal aspects of the NRFU call selection;
- Financial literacy and culture of preparation of the financial and economic part of the grant application to the NRFU: common mentality and budget-centeredness;
- Principles of administration of the NRFU grant projects and control over their implementation.
The event ended with a Q&A session, during which participants raised many questions and received professional and comprehensive answers. The organisers summarised the results of the three-day information event and conducted networking.
As a reminder, on the first day, September 3, representatives of the NRFU held a working meeting with governance of the Department of Education and Science of the Odesa Regional State Administration, and also visited the Southern Scientific Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The second day of the event, September 4, was devoted to the aspects and prospects of participation in the NRFU calls and Horizon Europe projects.
