Meeting with EC representatives at the NCBR

Specialists of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU continue their work within their working visit to Brussels. Thus, on June 26 and 27, the National Center for Research and Development (NCBR) hosted the presentation of the NCBR office in Brussels and the official introduction of the contact point in Brussels for the Ukrainian research community (Global promotion of UA R&D – GUARD), as well as a closer acquaintance with the team of Ukrainian Office.

The European Commission represented the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation, Common Missions & Partnerships Service, Research Counsellor at the Permanent Representation at the Republic of Poland to the EU, the European Research Executive Agency, the European Innovation Council and the SME Executive Agency. The parties reviewed issues related to Horizon Europe, including programming, evaluation and progress on Framework Programme 10, Missions and Partnerships.

Among other things, the role of European Networks in Brussels was highlighted. During the discussion session, the participants were introduced to representatives of thematic European networks in Brussels: IGLO, Science Europe, EU, UniLion.

In addition, the participants discussed aspects of Horizon Europe Programme components. They talked about the WIDERA, which is a cross-cutting element of the Programme. Also, MSCA4Ukraine and EIC Accelerator were discussed with representatives of the implementing agencies.
