On March 26, experts of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU, took part in an international webinar dedicated to the Eureka programme and Eureka opportunities for Ukrainian stakeholders. More than 400 participants joined the event.

Brit Helle, Director General of the Eureka network, and Olena Makarenko, a representative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, who is the National Coordinator of the Eureka project, opened the event with welcoming speeches.

The main topic on the agenda was the presentation of Eureka as a network, with a common understanding of the programme, its mission, goals and global impact. The issue of financial support under the programme was also covered. Among other things, the speakers focused on the network of Eureka projects including: Network Projects, Globalstars, Innowwide, Investment Readiness, and emphasised the specifics of participation in Eurostars/Fast Track and Eureka Clusters.

In addition, forthcoming calls were presented, as well as information about their specifics and application requirements. Participants received step-by-step instructions on how to submit project proposals in the particular areas presented under the Eureka programme.

Finally, a successful story of a Ukrainian Eureka participant from the Dnipro University of Technology was presented to the participants.
