On March 29, the latest EIT Jumpstarter Rebuild Ukraine Workshop 2025 was held. The event was organised by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology EIT Community RIS Hub on the basis of the EIT Jumpstarter programme. Representatives of the Department Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU, joined the event as speakers for the second year in a row. This time, Nataliia Didenko, Deputy Head of the Department, introduced the avenues to the European funds for Ukrainian startups.

The speaker told the participants in detail about the European funding opportunities for startups, in particular under the EU’s Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon Europe. She informed how Ukrainian startups can access the Programme’s projects, highlighting grants from the European Innovation Council. Nataliia Didenko also presented ways of integration into the European innovation ecosystem.

Besides, during the events, participants work on developing their innovative ideas according to the EIT Jumpstarter methodology; receive tools, ideas and knowledge on how to turn their startup dreams into reality; have the opportunity to communicate with experts to get answers to key questions about business model and strategy and, most importantly, become a member of the EIT Jumpstarter Pre-Acceleration programme, which lasts for 8 months. These workshops are held in a blended format, which makes it possible to engage as many stakeholders as possible both in person and online.

The EIT Jumpstarter Rebuild Ukraine Workshops are aimed at Ukrainian startup entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas, students interested in startups and wanting to turn their ideas into real businesses, researchers with promising scientific developments, and are part of the Seeds of Bravery project funded by the European Union under the European Innovation Council to support Ukrainian technology startups and their rapprochement with the EU.
