Representatives of the NRFU held an information event in Mykolayiv (Day I)
On November 13-14, representatives of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine held an information event “Grant opportunities of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine and support tools within the Horizon Europe Programme” in Mykolayiv. The two-day event was held at the Mykolayiv National Agrarian University.
On the first day of the event, November 13, the delegation of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine met with the governance of Mykolayiv National Agrarian University. The parties discussed the prospects for deepening cooperation. In particular, they discussed the provision of comprehensive assistance to the university by Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU to facilitate the latter’s successful participation in Horizon Europe projects.
Among other things, during the working meeting, the guests were presented with the scientific achievements of the institution, as well as the activities of its faculties and departments. The NRFU specialists met with the staff of the professional colleges of the MNAU, visited the Educational, Scientific and Practical Center, created to provide practical training for students, postgraduates, research and scientific and production activities, and the Center for Training of Workers’ Professions.
Also on this day, the Mykolayiv National Agrarian University hosted the Craft Production Forum in Ukraine. This is the first event for producers in the agricultural sector of Mykolayiv region and the country. The event was attended by distinguished guests, including representatives of state authorities and local governments of Mykolayiv region, heads of higher education institutions of the country, representatives of international organisations in Ukraine, and others.
The NRFU delegates, specialists of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, congratulated the higher education institution on the milestone event that took place on this very day – the 40th anniversary of its foundation and read out a greeting address on behalf of the Executive Director of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine, Olga Polotska. In addition, representatives of the Foundation spoke with local authorities and agreed to further cooperation and joint events in the future.
