Science Day 2026: Integration of Ukraine into the European Research Area
Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU, announces that an Information Dissemination Event: Integration of Ukraine into the European Research Area will take place on May 15, 2026. The event will be held as part of celebration for Science Day in Ukraine, which is annually held on the third Saturday of May.
The event is organised to raise awareness of opportunities for Ukrainian researchers and innovators within the European and global research areas. The aim is to boost science and innovation, and to foster synergies between European programmes, networks and initiatives aimed at strengthening cross-sectoral and cross-disciplinary scientific mobility, work and cooperation.
Among the speakers of the event are representatives of the Committee on Education, Science and Innovation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Directorate-General for Research and Innovation of the EC (DG RTD), the Science Europe Association, Fund of the President of Ukraine for Education, Science and Sports, the EU Delegation to Ukraine, the UNESCO Antenna Ukraine, the National Research Foundation of Ukraine, Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, the DAAD Information Centre in Kyiv.
The event will be held in a hybrid format from 08:00 to 14:00 (CEST). The event will be held in Ukrainian and English (with simultaneous interpretation).
To take part in the event, all interested parties need to register (the Form is in Ukrainian, is open till May 10, 2026). Please note, the number of places is limited, so we recommend not to delay and to complete the registration form.
