Specialists of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU, provided a number of consultations regarding participation in the Horizon Europe Programme
On March 4, the team of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU provided a number of consultations for those who are interested in participating in the Horizon Europe Programme.
Thus, the first consultation was held by the Office’s specialists for Oleksiy Danchuk, Deputy Director for Research at the Institute of Climate-Smart Agriculture of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, who visited the Office personally. Representatives of the research institution are very interested in participating in the Programme, but they face certain difficulties, as they are a relocated institution that suffered from the russian military aggression.
The Office staff responded to all the questions of the enquirer. The parties also discussed the development of international cooperation, the exchange of knowledge and the synergy between Ukrainian and European scientists focusing on the involvement of domestic researchers and innovators, including the Institute’s, in projects under Horizon Europe.
The second consultation was held online for representatives of YouControl LLC, a leader of Ukrainian OpenData/OSINT sphere. Hanna Horpynych, the company’s grant coordinator, Natalia Chornohub, the company’s grant manager, and others requested a joint meeting to get consultations.
Today, the company is a member of the consortium in two Horizon Europe projects. They are the project under Cluster 4: Common European Data Spaces and Robust AI for Transparent Public Governance (CEDAR) HORIZON-CL4-2023-DATA-01 and the project under Cluster 2: Bridging the Gaps in Evidence, Regulation and Impact of Anticorruption Policies (BRIDGEGAP) HORIZON-CL2-2023-DEMOCRACY-01.
Among the questions that interested the inquirers were:
✓ projects that need to integrate data from a variety of open sources from around the world, as well as promote innovative data-driven solutions;
✓ search for partners to create a consortium and a coordinator;
✓ the possibility of receiving advisory support from the Office in preparing Grant applications during participating in the Programme calls.
YouControl representatives got comprehensive answers to their requests from the specialists of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine. In addition, the parties agreed on further cooperation within the Horizon Europe Programme, based on the data exchange.
