Specialists of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU are constantly improving their knowledge of the Horizon Europe Programme, so they participate in trainings and workshops organised by European partners.

On December 11-13, a series of training workshops were held by Europa Media Group (Hungary). The workshops focused on building an effective communication process for the successful implementation of projects, in particular in the Horizon Europe Programme. During the training, the participants learned about the stages of forming a communication strategy, analysed each of them in more detail, received information on ways to select the target audience, communicate with it, as well as on covering the results and working with social networks.

The Office’s team also underwent a two-day training on evaluating project proposals of the Horizon Europe Programme, organised by Polish partners. The moderator of the event, Ms. Justyna Malkusz-Svitalska, has been an academic trainer and expert in evaluating European projects since 2006.

On December 12-13, the department’s staff reviewed basic approaches to preparing and evaluating project proposals. In particular, on the first day, the participants learned how calls for proposals are selected and matched, how to develop project proposals using the PM2 methodology and its connection to evaluation, studied the resources of the Funding and Tenders Portal, possible roles of experts, the evaluation algorithm, etc.

In addition, on the second day of the training, specific practical cases were worked out on the application of evaluation technology and the preparation of expert profiles. Among other things, the peculiarities of expert evaluation of Co-fund projects were discussed using real-life examples.
