The 1st Q&A session for NCPs from Ukraine and Moldova, dedicated to Horizon Europe, took place as part of the Horizon Academy project
On September 9, the first question-and-answer session for representatives of the National Contact Points of Ukraine and Moldova was held, dedicated to specific aspects of participation in the Horizon Europe Programme. The event was organised by experts from the Network of National Contact Points (NCP4HE) in cooperation with the European Commission and the National Horizon Europe Offices in Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova as part of the Horizon Academy project.
The event was opened with welcoming speeches by Maurizio Toscano (Horizon Academy Project Coordinator) and Carol Manse-Blanchard, Head of International Cooperation, Europe and America, EC. Maurizio Toscano Mancel-Blanchard (HoU for International Cooperation with Europe and the Americas, European Commission).
During the first session, representatives of the NCP Vasiliki Kalodimou (Widening NCP, FORTH-PRAXI, Greece), and Tamara-Katharina Mitiska (Legal & Financial NCP, FFG, Austria), presented their activities. The speakers also answered various questions about the functioning of the Horizon Europe Programme, which were sent in the registration form in advance or live questions from the audience during the broadcast of the event.
Please note that two sessions are planned in total. The events are intended to assist participants from both countries in their activities as National Contact Points. The second session will take place on October 14, 2025, 11:00-12:30 (CET).
