The team of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU, provided consultation to the Mindship representatives
On April 17, the team of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU, held an online consultation for representatives of the Mindship project – Breathwork powered by science, your data and AI for stress relief. The company, whose activities are aimed at breathwork based on science, human data and artificial intelligence to relieve stress, is looking for funding to conduct a scientific study on the effectiveness of the project and further development of their technology. Therefore, they need support in some issues related to participation in Horizon Europe calls.
So, Anna Chorna, co-founder and CMO at Mindship, and her team members requested advice on a number of issues. Among them: administrative aspects, selection of the Programme’s calls for proposals in the relevant areas, how to build a consortium, and protection of intellectual property during cooperation on the development of their solution within the consortium.
During the consultation, the issues of registering the organisation to participate in EU-funded calls, the differences between the types of organisations and their role in the consortium were discussed. Also, the EU Funding and Tenders Portal was demonstrated with a step-by-step algorithm for working with it.
Moreover, information on possible EU programmes was provided with a focus on calls relevant to the Mindship project: health, digital, AI, machine learning. In particular, the Office’s experts focused on relevant calls under Pillar III Innovative Europe within the European Innovation Council (EIC) and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). Besides, they discussed another direction – rehabilitation medicine.
The experts of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine provided thorough and comprehensive answers to all the questions raised. The inquirers received not only a general understanding of participation in Horizon Europe grant projects, but also the definition of their next steps in this direction.
