Analysis of the involvement of Ukrainian participants in the Cluster 1 of Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe calls

Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine continues to analyze and highlight the involvement of Ukrainian participants in the Cluster 1: Health within Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe calls.

While in the previous Horizon 2020 Framework Programme, Ukrainian participants took part in 5 projects and received 643 180 € funding, in the ongoing Horizon Europe Programme, we have 8 projects with a total funding of 1.57 million €.

When comparing the amount of funding for projects of participants from third countries, Ukraine was in 12th place in the Horizon 2020, and now it is in 8th place among associated countries.

Ukrainian participants in terms of funding in projects under the Cluster 1 of Horizon 2020:

1. Public Health Centre (2 projects: 130 000 € and 93 750 €)
2. The National Cancer Institute (197 500 €)
3. National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” (179 440 €)
4. The International Charitable Fund “OMNI-Net for Children” (42 490 €).

Ukrainian participants in terms of funding in projects under the Cluster 1 of Horizon Europe:

3. МКМ Service LLC (166 250 €)
4. Dnipro State Medical University (120 940 €)
5. Gastrocenter LLC (109 720 €)

7. H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University (53 000 €)
8. RE Kavetsky Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (12 500 €).
