Expert Consultations for Horizon Europe proposals preparation – Ukraine has already been launched

Home News Useful information Expert Consultations for Horizon Europe proposals preparation – Ukraine has already been launched

We inform you that the European Commission has launched a new project under the Global Service Facility (GSF) to facilitate a stronger participation of the Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries – Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Republic of Moldova and Ukraine – in Horizon Europe, and in the European Research Area (ERA).

Under this project, Expert Consultations and two rounds of Proposal Writing Camps are foreseen (fall 2026 and spring 2027).

It is important to mention that the Expert Consultations will be available this time throughout the duration of the project, i.e. from now till June 2027. Researchers and innovators from the EaP partner countries can already from now request individual expert consultations, which are granted on a case-by-case basis following consultations with the National Contact Points.

This customised support is addressed to potential applicants targeting a concrete call/topic of Horizon Europe. It will focus on questions such as:

  • ‘decoding’ the call;
  • matching between the call and the researcher’s expertise;
  • consortium building, securing roles in a consortium;
  • structuring the budget; etc.

Interested researchers and innovators from Ukraine are invited to register using the following link.

Applications will be evaluated at the end of every calendar month till May 2027, based on information provided in the registration file, as a limited number of consultations is available. For urgent requests interested stakeholders should inform the Horizon Europe National Contact Point Coordinator of Ukraine and the GSF team (EU-EaP_STIcooperation@Servicefacility.eu).

Please note that Vitaliy Bondarenko (DLR) and Kristel Toom (Civitta) will implement the activities in Ukraine.
