The Croatian organisation is interested in joining the existing consortium to participate in the Horizon Europe Cluster 5 call
Attention! Partner Search!
An organisation from the Republic of Croatia Green Building Council Croatia (GBC Croatia) is interested in finding partners and joining the existing consortium preparing a proposal for the Horizon Europe Cluster 5 call: Innovative approaches for the deployment of Positive Energy Districts (HORIZON-CL5-2026-02-D4-04).
GBC Croatia is an NGO active for more than 15 years and the largest organisation in Croatia dedicated to sustainable construction, decarbonisation, and green energy, gathering more than 130 members from the construction, energy, economy, public administration, and academia.
The organisation has extensive experience in participating in EU-funded projects. Their activities include coordinating industry, government, and academic stakeholders, delivering specialized education, developing guidelines, and organising successful conferences and capacity-building events related to building renovation, energy efficiency and decarbonization initiatives. Additionally, GBC Croatia is the official system partner for DGNB certification in Croatia, actively adapting the DGNB sustainability assessment system to the Croatian context.
The HE call, mentioned above, perfectly matches GBC Croatia’s commitment to urban decarbonisation, circular practices, and digital transition. Within the framework of the call, it can coordinate national partners, organise training sessions, workshops, co-creation events, as well as contribute to replication and exploitation of project results through the broader network of GBCs in Europe. Among other things the company can engage external experts to support technical, social, and policy aspects of Positive Energy District (PED) implementation. GBC Croatia’s team can also contribute to life cycle assessments, policy integration, and knowledge transfer, helping to translate research results into actionable urban policies and planning frameworks.
