Partners search for participation in the Horizon Europe call under the Cluster 4

An international research consortium consisting of partners from Greece, Norway, Great Britain and Ukraine is preparing a proposal for Horizon Europe call under the Cluster 4 “Digital, Industry and Space” HORIZON-CL4-2026-01-MAT-PROD-31: Efficient capture / purification / utilisation of CO2 for the production of competitive products.

The call deadline is on April 21,  2026.

The project aims to develop a nanotechnology-enabled catalytic platform converting biogas into valuable chemicals such as acetic acid and formic acid.

The consortium seeks industrial partners from:

• the biogas production sector;
• the cement production sector;
• the acetic acid production sector to contribute to industrial validation, process requirements definition, and scale-up assessment of the developed technology.

Industrial partners will gain early access to emerging CO2 utilisation technologies, the opportunity to influence technology development according to industrial needs, and participation in shaping future high TRL industrial demonstration projects within European decarbonisation initiatives.
