The EU constantly stands with Ukraine in the face of russia’s full-scale war – message from Ekaterina Zakharyeva

Four years of russia’s full-scale war of aggression in Ukraine.

Our country continues to defend not only its sovereignty, but also the principles of freedom, democracy and the rule of law, which are decisive for Europe. And the European Union constantly continues to provide support both to Ukraine in general and to its scientists, researchers and innovators. This was stated by Ekaterina Zaharieva, Commissioner for Startups, Research and Innovation, EC, in her message, also noting the participation of the Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU in this process:

“Even in wartime, Ukraine’s scientists keep teaching, researching and innovating. Through European cooperation – from the Horizon Europe Office in Kyiv to the International Coalition for Science, Research and Innovation – we help keep Ukraine’s research community active and connected”.

In particular, she stated that with MSCA4Ukraine, funded by the MSCActions, displaced scientists and researchers continue their work across EU & associated countries.
