The European Commission has published annual report on the EU research and technological development activities in 2025

The European Commission has published the “Annual Report on Research and Technological Development Activities of the European Union and Monitoring of Horizon Europe in 2025”. This report provides an overview of the EU’s key research and innovation (R&I) activities.
A significant part of the annual report is dedicated to the research related policy activities. In the monitoring part a closer look at the results and performance of the different Horizon Europe parts and the Euratom programme in 2025, including a new sub-section on simplificationб is taken.
The annual report is legally required and addressed to inform the European Parliament and the Council.
