Representatives of the NRFU hold a training and information event in Ivano-Frankivsk (Day I)
The team of the NRFU continues its working visits to the country to inform all stakeholders about Horizon Europe Framework Programme and its opportunities for Ukrainian researchers and innovators.
This time representatives of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine, headed by its Executive Director Olga Polotska, visited Ivano-Frankivsk to hold a two-day training and information event “Grant opportunities of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine and support tools within Horizon Europe”.
On the first day of the event, April 29, at the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, participants learned about grant opportunities from the National Research Foundation of Ukraine, innovative development of Ukraine through the prism of IP Office, COST initiative, opportunities and prospects of the EUREKA Programme, as well as Horizon Europe Programme, including future opportunities for Ukrainian participants and the specifics of participation in it.
Ihor Chudyk, Rector of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, and Olga Polotska, Executive Director of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine, welcomed the participants. They greeted the guests and emphasized the importance of participating in international grant programs. By participating in such projects, applicants have the opportunity not only to develop the domestic research and innovation sector, but also to integrate into the European research area.
The second working part was devoted to Horizon Europe, the benefits and peculiarities of participation in it. The Head of the Office, Igor Taranov, presented the Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine and future opportunities for Ukrainian participants. Yuliia Reminska, Leading Officer of the Office, spoke about the legal aspects of participation in the Programme. Nadiya Naumova, Leading Officer of the Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, NRFU, also discussed financial issues of participation in the Programme. In addition, Oleksandr Moiseiev, Leading Officer of the Office, provided information about WIDERA.
The event was organized by the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas together with the National Research Foundation of Ukraine for representatives of higher education institutions, research institutions, small and medium-sized enterprises, state and local governments, and public organizations.
