“EU funding programmes: opportunities for communities”: Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine took part in the workshop
On May 21, the Head of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine took part in a workshop organized by the Cedos think tank as part of the project “Strengthening the capacity of communities to participate in EU programmes”. The project aims to help Ukrainian communities apply for EU funding. As a part of the project, it is planned to hold series of three online workshops to help communities get to know the available programmes and key tips on how to apply for them. The first workshop was held on May 16.
During the speech, the Head of the Office spoke about the opportunities of Horizon Europe Framework Programme and elaborated on competitions for business, as the development of small and medium-sized enterprises means new jobs, taxes to community budgets and opportunities for innovative development.
The event also attended by Christian Larsen, National Expert in the Ukrainian service of the Directorate-General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR) and experts in the field of local, regional, and innovative development.
